About Faceiro
Chris Underwood (also known by his capoeira name Faceiro) is an international photographer specialising in commercial and creative editorial assignments. He’s experienced in both studio and location photography and his work covers portrait, lifestyle, documentary and product photography for brands, creative agencies and educational institutes in the UK and around the world.
A notable personal project was Portrait 365 Project, which saw him capture faces and stories in various countries every day for a year. The project highlights his story-telling approach and his understanding of the intricacies of human interaction with the world around us, which is a quality that Chris brings to any photographic assignment.

Chris credits his obsession for perfection and focus on light on his formative career stage with world-renowned photographer Tim Flach (www.timflach.com), whose anthropomorphic images of animals have been exhibited and published to great critical acclaim.
As well as working for his own clients, Chris has been freelancing regularly for the Midlands-based studio Scene Photography, both in the UK and regularly in China.
